I am from Asheville, NC, and my little family of husband and furry children moved to MD in May of 2019. I was a long-distance runner in middle school, high school and college and started weightlifting to maintain my shape and health after college.
I took my first CrossFit class in early fall of 2012, became a certified Level 1 trainer in October 2012 and started coaching in February 2013, and I’ve been addicted ever since. CrossFit has changed my life both mentally and physically over the last 7 years. I went from a lean, petite running machine of 115# to a solid, strong and healthy CrossFitter around 150#, and CrossFit has taught me to truly embrace the concept of “Strong is the new Skinny”
I have a background in Psychology and a master’s degree in Sport and Exercise Psychology.
I am a Donor Services Coordinator for the Donate Life Foundations of Maryland, VA and DC as well as an independent Life Insurance Agent in 6 states. I spend a great deal of my free time in the gym, reading, interior decorating and with my Huskies and Husband.
